Gina's Commitment to District 66 Families
Gina is running because District 66 families deserve a representative who listens for them, someone who listens, understands the challenges real families face, and has the courage to take action. These are the issues that matter most, and these are Gina's commitments to you.
Lower the Cost of Living
Families across Racine County are feeling the pressure of rising costs everywhere — from groceries and utilities to gas and property taxes. Hardworking District 66 families should be able to keep more of what they earn. Gina believes government's role is to remove burdens, not add to them, and she is committed to fighting for common-sense policies that deliver real relief.
Gina's Priorities
- Lower the financial burden on working families
- Address rising property taxes
- Support economic growth and good-paying jobs
- Promote responsible government spending
Affordable Housing
Homeownership should be attainable for hardworking families, young adults starting out, and seniors who want to remain in the homes they worked their entire lives to afford. Too many young adults are living at home because they cannot get a foothold in the market. Too many seniors are being taxed out of the homes they have already paid for. And too many middle-class families are stuck — unable to move up because of a lack of inventory and affordability. Gina believes housing affordability is essential to strong communities and stable families.
Gina's Priorities
- Make homeownership more attainable for first-time buyers and working families
- Help seniors stay in their homes
- Support responsible development and housing growth
- Protect neighborhoods and quality of life
- Address the gap between income growth and rising home costs
Utilities & Data Centers
As technology infrastructure grows across Wisconsin, District 66 families and businesses must not bear the cost. Gina supports smart policies that welcome economic investment while protecting residents, the environment, and Wisconsin's natural resources.
Gina's Priorities
- Ensure utility costs for data centers are not passed on to residential ratepayers
- Require that tax-paying data center businesses provide meaningful tax offsets for local residents
- Protect the environment, wildlife, and farmland from undue impact
- Safeguard local residents from noise pollution and other negative side effects of large-scale infrastructure
- Protect Wisconsin's water supply
Education & Strong Schools
Too many students are falling behind in reading, writing, and math. District 66 families deserve schools that set high expectations, deliver measurable results, and prepare every student for a successful future — whether that means college, a skilled trade, or a career. Gina believes schools must refocus on academic fundamentals and that parents, teachers, and communities must be partners in that effort.
Gina's Priorities
- Improve reading, writing, and math proficiency for all students
- Support parents and teachers
- Strengthen career and technical education opportunities
- Increase accountability for student outcomes
- Raise standards and focus on proven results
Safe Communities
Families deserve to feel safe in their neighborhoods, schools, and local businesses. Public safety is one of the core responsibilities of local government, and Gina believes it must be fully funded and fiercely protected. Strong communities are built through investment in public safety, active community involvement, and unwavering support for law enforcement and first responders.
Gina's Priorities
- Support law enforcement, EMS, and all first responders
- Promote safe neighborhoods and schools
- Address crime proactively
- Strengthen community partnerships
- Protect families and local businesses
Law Enforcement & First Responders
Public safety is a core responsibility of local government — and Gina will never waver on that. Our police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and emergency responders put their lives on the line every day to protect our families and our community. They deserve our full support, the resources to do their jobs, and leaders who have their backs.
Gina's Priorities
- Fund our police, fire, first responders, and emergency services fully and without compromise
- Support the men and women who protect our communities
- Eliminate wasteful programs that double-dip from public safety budgets
- Promote officer wellness, retention, and recruitment
Gina is ready to fight for District 66 families. Together, we can build a community where every family can thrive.
